Surfing the web there are always offers for free stuff like 2 free ipod nanos for example. These are all basically scams because u have to register for sponser programs which actually COSTS MONEY so its not free. Are there any nonscam websites were u can actually get something free without paying a cent???

I want to know if the Virgin Mobile Wildcard can use free wifi and unsecured internet networks to surf the internet. I am not sure if you have to pay… Also, if you do, how much?

I have a desktop with 1gb of ram it’s 60gb hard drive…i want something comparable or better than my current desktop, is cheaper brands as good as like a dell or Compaq? I want to surf the net, use IM and email. Also use microsoft works and microsoft money. Play online games stuff like that. I want to pay less than $700 for one so i want to know if the “generic” ones are as good as the big name ones. I also want it to last a while.
best buy has a brand it’s called Acer i’ve never heard of it is it any good?

I come on YA a lot when my work is kind of slow, cause I’m bored and my co’s filter blocks a lot of stuff. What are some websites that have cool stuff to do that aren’t likely to be blocked by the filter?

And yes I know that I should do work. But the nature of my job is such that I am either crazy busy or crazy bored. I just need to pass the time until my work picks up again. Besides, getting paid to surf the web is a great deal if you ask me lol.

When I buy a wi-fi enabled phone, such as the Blackberry Curve or the Wing (both T-Mobile), can I use them with my home wi-fi network and surf the web, or would I have to pay extra fees? I just thought it would be cool to be able to use it as a web browser at home and as a phone on the go. Thanks!

I bought an extreme iMac and i need a BASIC laptop for email, surfing, bill/pay…..2-3 times a month. Bought a “refurbished” but found out it’s core duo, 2.0 GHz ….so i got a second delivered- (core 2 duo 2.0Ghz)..

They are now here un-opened (2nd day)…i need honest opinions please!…. I will use it 8hours/ month TOPS! ..core duo; 2.0 GHz 2GHz 80 HD 32bits 2 mb cache: $846.00 ……core 2 duo; 2Ghz 120 HD, 64 Bits 4mb cache.. $999.99..directly @ Apple

What is the best tender for paying for a used car from a private party? The car will be sold for around 3k. As the buyer, should I pay with cash, , a money order, a cashier’s check, or another tender? It would be quite easy for me to withdraw the ammount in cash from my savings account. I like the barganing power of cash, but carrying 3 large into an unknown environment makes me uneasy. This will be a face to face transaction after a brief negotiation on the price. As always, it is “buyer beware” but a cashier’s check seems to be more secure and, being backed by the bank, I would have something to fall back on if I get slighted in the deal. How would I get over the fixed ammount of the check though? Bring multiples in various denominations? This isnt a very serious transaction, I am buying a fun Jeep Wrangler to go surfing with this summer, not using it as my primary transportation, if that makes a difference.

I want a seriously kick-ass super fast computer for school, email, surfing around on the web, finances, and I want lots of memory that I can never possibly use. I don’t mind paying for what it’s worth, and I don’t want a piece of sh*t computer. I want one that can do anything I need it to do, and I want a flatscreen monitor – a big one. Please help me.
